Amid the big story on the current point leaders absence, Patrick perron quietly assumed the lead and held off Vinnie
Curro for his first win of his career.
Action began as Vinnie Curro, Steve Perry and Dale Gregory took heat wins.
In the B main feature, the afforementioned Pat Perron led the charge to secure his qualifying spot with Leo Belanger
and Mike Twist also transfering to the main.
Scott Reed paced the main feature and led the first few laps with Dan Bowley overtaking him with an outside pass and
pulling out to a nice lead.Racing was nice and tight until a wreck on the back stretch involving Perry, Curro and Gregory.
Dan Bowley had a belt come off handing the lead to Shannon Wilkinson and Perry got a flat under caution but, got back out
without losing a lap to put on a show for the fans. Outside, sometimes 3 wide he charged back to 4th before the night was
over.
The last caution flew as the leader Shannon Wilkinson got tipped over and narrowly avoided getting run over on the frontstretch.
Perron assumed the lead and cruised to the win over Vinnie Curro and Scott Reed.
