The 2008 Pathfinder Cup Series is coming soon.
Last year the City of Saco had a complaint from a resident on the
races.
It was determined that a permit would be required to continue racing in the 2008 season.
Last week the Planning
Board met and recommended the facility for a permit to go before the City Council later this month.
Amazingly no one
showed up in opposition of the races and a few neighbors were there to support our cause.
So with luck we can get through
the Council sometime in June or early July.
Some improvements are on tap for the facility in 2008. Larger off street
parking, more bleachers and viewing areas and improved racing surface are scheduled to begin as soon as we are permitted.
